Grace House

Raising a building before a single brick is laid.

Overview

Grace House is a Cold Lake capital campaign to fund a $2M community facility. I made an imagined building real enough to fund — a brand, an orbitable 3D vision, online and offline giving, and a back office that turns every gift into a CRA-compliant receipt automatically.

Challenge

Raise serious money for a building that doesn’t exist yet — and do the unglamorous part too: turn every online and offline gift into a compliant tax receipt without a bookkeeper.

Insight

People fund what they can see. Make the vision tangible, make giving and receipting effortless, and a community will build its own future.

Approach

A campaign brand, an orbitable 3D vision of the finished facility, Stripe + Interac giving, automatic CRA-compliant receipts, and offline-gift reconciliation with board-export tooling.

Craft

Two experiences in one: the believer’s screen (the vision, the ask) and the operator’s screen (the ledger, the receipts) — emotional infrastructure and financial infrastructure, built together.

Outcome

Grace House can take a gift any way it comes and receipt it correctly, automatically. (Real totals raised and receipts issued to confirm before publishing; public campaign goal is $2M.)
